Heat is allowed in through skylights above the central amusement park area. The majority of the heat is produced by lighting fixtures, other electric devices and people in the mall. In fact, even during the winter, air conditioning systems may still be in use during peak hours to ensure a comfortable shopping environment. Although the common areas are unheated, the individual stores do have heating systems.

Our food offerings include a variety of premium breakfast sandwiches, baked goods and snacks to fuel life's adventures. I spent entirely way too much time trying to find "the best" restaurant at Mall of America. Like any mall, there are plenty of chains to choose from, and of course, food courts, but I wanted to pick some place unique to eat at during our vacation. There are 28 rides and attractions at Nickelodeon Universe. You can opt to pay per ride or get an all-day wristband.
I'm torn on recommending getting the all-day wristband, especially if you visit on an extra busy day. Keep yourself busy and happy for the day by visiting Mall of America on a Holiday. Just because it's a holiday it doesn't mean we need to stop our shopping activities.
